May 2020

On May 4th, 2020, BioNotus hosts a company visit by a group of Master students in the context of their training as Master in Industrial Pharmacy. Despite the corona-related measures, BioNotus delivers an exciting and interactive webinar, showcasing its activities in the fields of bioanalysis and pharmacometrics.

On March 11th, Prof. Pieter Annaert gave a webinar, hosted by GMP (Groupe Métabolisme et Pharmacocinetique), entitled: "PBPK models: mechanistic plausibility drives predictive performance".


October 2019

At the GMP annual meeting in Lyon, on October 16th, 2019, Prof. Pieter Annaert delivered a seminar entitled: "In vitro approaches to predict transporter-related drug-drug interactions".


On October 14th, in the context of a visit to the University of Parma, Prof. Pieter Annaert delivered a seminar entitled: "Utility of hepatocyte-based models in drug-induced cholestasis".


On October 3rd, Prof. Pieter Annaert delivered a webinar as part of a workshop organised by Altertox in collaboration with the University of Wageningen. The title of his webinar was: "PBPK modelling in pharmaceutical industry".

On October 4th and 5th, Altertox academy organised a KU Leuven-hosted workshop entitled: PBPK modelling for quantitative in vitro-in vivo extrapolation.

Trainers were from KU Leuven, Wageningen University, JRC and Certara.

Between October 15th and 18th, BioNotus sponsored and attended the 20th International Congress on In vitro Toxicology, which took place in Berlin, Germany. The topic of the meeting was: New approach methodologies for in vitro toxicology applications.

Prof. Annaert, co-founder and scientific advisor of BioNotus, delivered a lecture entitled "Simulating foetal drug exposure: sildenafil as an example".

June 2018

Between June 23rd and 27th, BioNotus co-founder and scientific advisor Prof. Pieter Annaert, attended the 58th Annual Meeting of the Teratology Society, which took place in Clearwater, Florida this year. The topic of the meeting was: Mechanisms, Models, Mothers and Babies: Bringing Birth Defects Research into Practice.

Prof. Annaert delivered a lecture as part of the ILSI HESI symposium "Neonatal Paediatric Drug Development". The title of his lecture was: "Pharmacokinetics in Nonclinical Models and Translation to the Clinic: Challenges and Future Directions"

Between May 27th and June 1st, BioNotus participated in the annual PAGE meeting, which took take place in Montreux (CH).

BioNotus CSO Dr. Eef Hoeben presented a poster entitled: Modelling the Transfer of Sildenafil Across the Placenta with Data of an Ex-Vivo Human Placenta Perfusion Experiment.
